GTA MARKET Tokenomics

One currency. One loop. How $GTAM powers the GTA6 on-chain marketplace.

The design in one sentence

Players buy creator-made content with $GTAM, every sale feeds buyback and burn and the staking pool, and staking unlocks the best content. That is the whole loop, and every part of it is visible on-chain.

The $GTAM flywheel

The flywheel on gtamarket.fun/#/token has eight steps:

  1. More creators. More invited creators publish demos and drops.
  2. Buy with $GTAM. Players buy with $GTAM, the only marketplace currency.
  3. Bounties. Players pledge $GTAM on requested demos, and 5% of every payout is burned.
  4. Platform fee. A 10% fee is taken on each sale.
  5. Burn and pool. 50% of fees go to buyback and burn, 30% to the staking drops pool.
  6. Staking. Staking locks supply and unlocks higher-tier content.
  7. Holder votes. Holders pick the Mod of the Week, and the winner earns a bonus from the rewards pool.
  8. Attracts creators. A bigger audience attracts more creators, and the loop repeats.

Where every fee goes

There is one platform fee of 10%, shown before every purchase. During the first 30 days it is 0%, so creators keep 100% of each sale. After that, the fee itself is split by fixed constants:

Share of the fee Destination What it does
50% Buyback and burn Buys back $GTAM and sends it to the burn address
30% Staking drops pool Funds staking drops and Mod of the Week bonuses
20% Operations Runs the platform via the treasury wallet

A worked example: on a 1,000 $GTAM sale, the creator is credited 900 $GTAM and the fee is 100 $GTAM. Of that fee, 50 $GTAM goes to buyback and burn, 30 $GTAM to the staking drops pool and 20 $GTAM to operations.

The creator's 900 $GTAM unlocks in equal daily parts over 90 days, so payouts are steady and predictable, and creators stay aligned with the platform long-term.

Five value drivers

Token-only demand. Marketplace purchases, merch and premium drops are paid in $GTAM. Listings show a USD price and convert to $GTAM at checkout.

Supply locked for launch. Stake for Launch locks $GTAM until GTA VI release day, or the fallback date, whichever comes first.

Fee share to buyback and burn. 50% of every platform fee is set aside to buy back $GTAM and burn it.

Bounty sink. Requests are funded in $GTAM and held in escrow, and 5% of every paid-out bounty is burned.

Creators aligned long-term. Creators earn in $GTAM, and their share unlocks linearly over 90 days, not all at once.

Stake for Launch

GTA VI is about a month away. Stake for Launch makes that month count.

Lock $GTAM through Streamflow, an established Solana token-lock tool, so every lock is verifiable on-chain. Your full stake unlocks on GTA VI release day, November 19, 2026, or on the fallback date, currently March 31, 2027, whichever comes first. A delay never locks anyone in indefinitely, and 100% of your stake comes back at unlock.

The more you stake, the higher the grade of the rewards:

Tier Minimum stake Staked to claim Grade Highlights
Street 1,000 $GTAM 14+ days Standard 1 free demo, Street cosmetic pack, holder role
Hustler 5,000 $GTAM 14+ days Rare 3 free demos, Rare item pack, 24h early access
Boss 25,000 $GTAM 21+ days Epic 6 free demos across all four categories, Epic pack, 48h early access, Boss badge
Kingpin 100,000 $GTAM 30+ days Legendary Full launch-week demo bundle, Legendary packs, 72h early access, physical merch
Legend 500,000 $GTAM 30+ days Mythic Everything in Kingpin, creator-collab packs, first access to every drop, signed merch, launch credits

Final minimums are confirmed at $GTAM launch. Rewards are in-platform content and perks paid from the pool, never new tokens or yield.

Early-bird week. Stake in the first 7 days after staking opens and your rewards are calculated one tier higher, all the way to release day. Early birds also receive the Genesis pack: an animated profile badge, a livery set for the launch catalogue vehicles, a photo-mode preset collection, a numbered digital poster, and a role and name on the launch credits page.

Fair by design. Free rewards need at least 14 days staked, and higher tiers need longer. Each reward can be claimed once per wallet, and your tier is set by the amount staked at the end of the window.

The Bounty Board

Players name the demo they want and pledge $GTAM on it, with a minimum of 5,000 $GTAM. Pledges sit in on-chain escrow, not with the team. A creator claims the request and delivers it to the marketplace. Pledgers get a 3-day review window and a free copy. The creator then receives the bounty, minus a 5% burn. If nothing is delivered within 30 days, every pledge returns to its wallet.

Mod of the Week

Every week, stakers vote on four nominated demos, Monday to Sunday, 00:00 UTC. Votes are weighted by tier, from 1 vote for Street to 5 for Legend. The winner takes the homepage spotlight for the following week, and its creator receives 10% of that week's rewards-pool inflow, paid in $GTAM.

30 Days to Vice City

One drop is revealed every day for the 30 days before GTA VI, with day 30 landing on release day. Some drops are for everyone, some for stakers, and some for specific tiers, like the weekly mystery packs. Every wallet can claim each drop once, and revealed drops stay claimable until release day.

The public treasury

The Treasury dashboard tracks four counters: total burned, the rewards pool, total staked and bounties in escrow. Three wallets are published there: the burn address, the rewards pool and the treasury wallet, each linked to a Solana explorer.

At launch we publish the $GTAM mint address, those three wallet addresses, the staking lock contract and escrow program, and the fee split constants, 50 / 30 / 20. The constants are published and never change silently.

Official channels

Token launch details are announced only on the official website and @GTAMarket_ on X, at the same time and in the same words. GTA MARKET will never DM you asking you to send funds, and will never ask for your seed phrase.
